Every year, with the arrival of the Celebration of the Immaculate Conception, our UNESCO jewel is transformed into a real enchanted village for three days.

This splendid initiative is the result of collaboration between the Pro Loco Pienza and the CCN Pienza (the town’s Natural Shopping Centre), united in the desire to bring you an authentic Christmas. The beating heart of our street markets is based on excellence: you’ll find only the best of Made in Italy artistic craftsmanship, providing a unique opportunity to discover rare gifts that tell a story. Get ready to experience a magical and unique Christmas atmosphere!
Programme: A Three-Day Sensory Journey
The “Mercatini nell’Arte” are much more than just stalls: they are a continuous celebration for all the senses, running from 10 am to 8 pm for three full days.
The Atmosphere: Let yourself be transported along the main streets of the village, where every corner shines with soft lights and traditional decorations.
Music: The air will be filled with joy thanks to the travelling shows. Expect to come across the warm sounds of pipers, exhibitions by folk groups and carols that instantly bring Christmas to life.
Fun: We think about everyone! There will be spaces and fun initiatives dedicated to entertaining the children, ensuring a magical experience for the whole family.
Flavours: Of course, the flavours of the Val d’Orcia are a must. Immerse yourself in the food and wine specialities, tasting the famous Pecorino di Pienza cheese and warming yourself with the local delicacies.
